Elijah I. Mitchell (born May 2, 1998) is an American professional football running back for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Early life Mitchell grew up in Erath, Louisiana and attended Erath High School, where he played high school football. As a senior, he only played in eight games due to injury but still rushed for 1,903 yards and 28 touchdowns.
